Oh yes, Armenia is full of »stones«, what some people might thing of the amazing historical wealth in the country. Luckily, I have always been keen on history and that is why I found my paradise here.
No matter where I look, I see precious things, which take me through time. Having a good imagination, I can almost imagine people who walked around these places centuries ago.
No matter if we are visiting old monasteries, looking at old cemeteries, cave villages, caravanserais, observatories… Each stop and sight is beautiful in its own way and worth the time for admiration.
Last but not least, to reach these »stones« there are numerous picturesque views along the road, including the world’s longest cable car and a fascinating suspension bridge over a canyon, what makes the whole exploration even a bit more spectacular and sweet.
