Long-term traveling is not a holiday and that is why we have decided to treat ourselves with few days of vacations. One of the best holiday destinations in Europe is Greece, and that is exactly where we will be enjoying some time-off.
We are already driving (slowly though) towards home in Slovenia, so we did not want to go far from the way. That is why we decided to stop on Thassos Island.
Holiiiidaaayssss (Thassos Island, Greece)
The days are getting shorter and colder. We even got a rainy welcome when reaching Greece, so we switched our car bed for some more space and rented an apartment. Well, we really enjoy wilderness camping, but hey, it is nice to have some luxury as well.
The El Mare Luxurious Apartments are amazing. They are almost brand new (opened in May 2016) and are spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, with a nice view over the sea, close to the city center of Limenaria and with a great owners, who speak English and Serbian. We would definitely recommend you to stay here, if you ever find yourself in Thassos.

We did not make any big plans for Thassos, except to rest and enjoy our time-off. After all we are on vacations. 🙂
