The location of Dubai hotels should be your number one priority. Dubai is a huge metropolis and if you don’t have your own transport, the fastest, easiest and also cheapest way is to explore Dubai with a metro. Even though we did have a rented car in Dubai and for the rest of our UAE travel, we wanted to have a hotel close to a metro station and that is why Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha hotel was perfect for us.

Location
Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha hotel is not in the city center, but because a metro station is just a few steps away, that does not represent any disadvantage. Taking the metro, you only need about 20 minutes to reach the famous building Burj Khalifa and the world’s biggest shopping mall Dubai Mall. It does not really matter where you are headed as taking the metro is very convenient. Explore Deira, the old part of Dubai, take a look at the Ski slope in Emirates Mall or take a walk along Dubai Marina. The hotel is also surrounded by restaurants, shops and a bank.

Rooms
Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha was built in 2008 and their rooms (309 in total) are modernly designed, but still give you a warm feeling. The en suite bathroom is done according to European standards, but for all the Arabic guests, the toilet is also equipped with a shower hose. There is a fridge in the room, water heater and complimentary daily stocked tea, coffee and water.

Food
You will find two signature restaurants in Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha – Indian restaurant Gharana (casual dining) and Fine Dining -Thai – What’s On Award Winner , The Royal Budha. The Royal Budha was also nominated as being one of the TOP 10 Asian restaurants in Dubai. We recommend you to book your room with breakfast included, as their buffet is enormous and offers everything you can dream of. There are salads, cheeses, salamis, soups, pancakes, cereals, sausages, veggies… You can even have your eggs freshly made and as you like them too. There are also yoghurts, fresh juice, lots of desserts and fruit.

Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha has 4 stars with a 5 star look, so you can expect all kinds of luxury services available. As a guest you can use their free of charge parking garage, fast Wi-Fi everywhere, a stunning rooftop swimming pool and bar, which gives you splendid views over Burj Al Arab. If the day is clear you can even see Burj Khalifa and hotel Atlantis from hotel’s rooftop terrace. If you want to stay in shape, there’s even a well stocked gym available. If you want to use their beauty salon and massages, you should book them in advance and they cost extra.

There are 267 employees in Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha hotel and every single one treats you with kindness. Walking around the hotel, you do get a feeling of being welcome and that’s not just because you are their guest and you should feel welcome. Don’t be surprised if they walk up to you and ask if everything is OK, what clearly shows, they care for your well being and also for their service.

Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha is not the cheapest nor the most expensive hotel in Dubai and that is why it attracts guests for leisure and business. Its great location and additional service does make their prices a little bit higher, but if you are willing to spend a few extra bucks for being comfortable, you will not be sorry. After all, Dubai is known after luxury, so why not having one if you are already visiting the city. Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha will give you a good deal for all that they are offering.

Employees in Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha like to say “The 4Star Hotel with a 5Star Look” and staying here, you do feel like being in a 5 star hotel. Five stars hotels can welcome you with lavishing lobby, marble and shiny chandeliers, but let’s be honest… the only thing that truly counts are its people, who are harder to get than all luxurious decorations and design, which has no meaning if you don’t really feel welcome.
