We have decided to admire the Eiffel Tower without reaching its top and we don’t have any regrets. You should see the Eiffel Tower during the day and night. 2. Visit the museums
Paris has so many museums that you have difficulties which one to choose from. You should definitely visit one or two, but if that’s not really your thing, you will save a bunch of money. If you cannot imagine traveling to Paris without visiting museums, make sure to be in Paris for first Sunday each month, when some museums offer free entrances. 3. Be amazed when walking in churches

We visited Paris in February, but its numerous parks did make a big impression on us. We cannot imagine how beautiful they must be in full bloom. 5. Admire Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees

Nothing can bit the atmosphere in Montmartre. Narrow streets and bohemian vibe feel like being in a small French village. We loved to wander around Montmartre, which is mainly known for its square, full of painters. 7. Make a selphie in front of the Moulin Rouge

If you like nature, you will like this promenade. It is made on formal train tracks. It is 4,5 kilometers long and locals like to use it for walks and jogging. We really like it and if we would be there in spring, it would definitely be one of our best free things to do in Paris.
11. Travel back in time by visiting Arenes de Lutece
This old Roman amphitheater does not get lots of tourists, but it is very popular among locals. During warm and sunny days it is ideal for picnics or playing football in the arena. One of the best free things to do in Paris to enjoy the real local vibe.

13. Drop your jaws at the Concorde square

If you will be exploring Paris with a metro/underground, you will notice some of its artistic stations. We liked best the stairs at Abbesses station, which lead to Montmartre.

If you’ll be in Paris, having a nice weather, don’t miss out on a walk along the river Seine from the museum D’Orsay to Pont de L’Alma. We loved the fact that Paris offers a lot of free public toilets. If you are like us, exploring Paris all day long can be a drag if you cannot go to the toilet. And to top it all off, these toilets are being self-cleaned and disinfected every time someone leaves it. Way to go Paris!
We really liked the fact that there are full of gorgeous free things to do in Paris. If you have enough time, don’t forget to visit the local markets and see the Louvre Museum and Pantheon from the outside, walk around the Versailles gardens and get to know the bohemian life in the Latin Quarter.
