We spent only a little bit more than 2 days in Dubai, but we still did manage to see almost all TOP tourist attractions in Dubai. One of the most known and visited Dubai attraction is the famous Dubai Aquarium, which can be found in the biggest shopping mall in the world – Dubai Mall.

The Dubai Aquarium is huge (51 meters in length, 20 meters in width and 11 meters in height) and can collect 10 million liters of water! That is 4 Olympic-size swimming pools of water! Impressive number, right? The complete water goes through different filters 18 times per day, what makes it clean all the time.

We could not help ourselves, but we did have the »wow« moment when we first lay our eyes on this enormous Dubai aquarium. Huge sharks were swimming around and we started to count…one, two, three… There are more than 300 sharks and rays in this aquarium!

The Dubai Aquarium can brag having the world’s largest collection of Sand Tiger Sharks. There are more than 140 different species in the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

Seeing the sharks, tunas, rays and other fishes swimming above you is amazing and worth the money. The tunnel in the Dubai Aquarium will be amazing experience for your kids, if you’re a travelling family. Also a visit to different smaller fish tanks will be great adventure for them as well. They will even be able to spot »Nemo«, huge crocodile and penguins.
